We are pleased to share a positive update regarding the August 11 container.

After the previous vessel cancellation and subsequent delays, we have now received an official Arrival Notice from MSC confirming that our container is currently scheduled to arrive at the Port of Tema on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 aboard MSC BAHRAIN II, Voyage WF639A.

We understand that this shipment has experienced an unusually long delay, beginning with the cancellation of the originally scheduled vessel. We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding throughout this process.

PLEASE NOTE: The September 29 date is the vessel's current estimated arrival date. This does not mean that the container will immediately be available for pickup or delivery.

Once the vessel arrives, the container must still be discharged from the vessel and go through the required port and customs clearance process before the cargo can be released.

We will continue monitoring the shipment closely and will provide another update once we receive confirmation that the vessel has arrived and the container has been discharged.

Please do not make arrangements to pick up cargo at this time. We will notify everyone when the container has been cleared and cargo is ready for pickup or delivery.

We would like to provide an important update regarding our August 11 container shipment to Ghana.

We have been officially notified by the shipping line that the scheduled vessel, MSC ORNELLA, has been canceled due to operational issues at the Tema Port terminal.

As a result, the shipment has been rescheduled to the next available vessel:

🚢 New Vessel: MSC MARIANNA
📅 New Estimated Arrival – Tema: September 21, 2026

Please note that your shipment is safe and remains in transit. This change is related to shipping line and port operations at Tema and is unfortunately beyond the control of Afra Logistics.

We understand that many of you have been patiently waiting for your items, and we sincerely apologize for the additional delay and inconvenience this schedule change may cause.

We will continue to closely monitor the shipment and provide additional updates as information becomes available. Once the container arrives and is cleared, customers will be notified regarding pickup and delivery arrangements.
